DESCRIPTION:
Clocks- 2 (Two) Connecticut 8 day, time & strike marble-look wood mantels: Wm. Gilbert "Athol" ; and Seth Thomas Adamantine; c1904
CONDITION:
Both these cases are in nice condition with very minor scuffs and losses, pierced gilt dials, bold marbleizing and only minor flaws. The Gilbert is in the Ly book, with its "Italian Marble" finish, but we cannot find an exact match for the Seth Thomas (not surprising with the quantity of models they produced). Movements looks clean, and tick & gong okay. Ht 12 1/2".
